I had the pleasure of taking the Super Gas course at the Frank Hawley School in Gainesville, FL on March 22nd and 23rd. It's a great course--not cheap but well worth it. Frank taught the course and he's an excellent instructor--knowledgeable and funny with a bunch of interesting stories.
I had a total of six passes in the '02 Firebird (572 BBC engine) over the two days, with a quickest of 9.29 @ 144 mph. The car launched level and went straight (except when some of us didn't have it quite lined up at the start). I passed and got my license, so now I won't have to break in my new car at the same time I'm taking license passes.
I would highly recommend the class to anyone.
