View Full Version : Can't get in touch with Kauffman/KRE?

Has anyone out there dealt with KRE very recently? I emailed them a list of parts early last week, asking for prices, shipping, etc. When I hadn't heard back for a week, I called them and got an answering machine (I left a message there, mentioning the email).
So far I haven't heard anything, not even a "we'll get back to you soon" type of response.
Anyone know what's going on?

Hi TransAMrit, first how do U know 4 sure they got your email, second I know that they R very busy in the shop & it might take them some time 2 get back 2 U. I think U should give them a little time before U post something like this. The world does not revolve around U.

If this helps:
We have a Full Time retail parts phone line (1-352-796-8800) and "No answering machine" during business hours. We answer e-mails directed at
[email protected] daily. We also have an Ebay store with Paypal. M/C and Visa.
We might get busy and the phone might ring busy occasionally...... but you can get thru. ;)
Why wait. LOL.
KRE......"run Forrest run!!!!!!" Seriously though, they may be on the road. Did they go to "Pontiac Heaven" in Az?
Did you try these guys? http://www.pacificperformanceracing.com/
Or this guy? http://www.spottsperformance.com/
The Dude is a good choice if you can get him to stop talking about how fast he, WAS! J/K

It doesn't?! Imagine that... ;)
I did not mean to disparage KRE in any way (I realize that it has only been a week and a half or so). Instead, I was purely curious as to whether anyone that's more involved in the Pontiac community might happen to know if the folks at the shop are busy.
Maybe Mo is right, they may be at Pontiac Heaven - I sure wouldn't have come up with that if I didn't ask here.. and now I know of some other shops as well.
Thanks for the info, folks.

Fastest Stock Suspension Pontiac in the Universe with Street tires............ still.
8.92@ 160
Dude,I don't understand what that means. How fast R the chevs, fords, mopars going.Do you mean that if you took your motor (with no nos),& your trani, stuck it in a 2400lbs race car it would be fast, how fast.Sorry but I don't subscribe to your train of thought.I think to see how fast your motor is, is to run it as a straight motor.Jimmy Jammel ran 8:08 @ 165mph no additives, now that's really fast.I ran 8:33@163mph with a 455 block.I think that is fast. The other guys running in the 7s with the big motors,no additives, that fast. But when you tell US you ran 8.92@160 with 150shot,350shot,900shot of nos, this does not mean that much to ME.And I know your car wieghs like 10,000lbs.Put your motor in a real race car with no additives and than tell us you are the fastest in the Universe,AND I would be happy for YOU.Dude really nothing against you but making a straight motor go fast takes a lot of talent.
At least I fit into the catagory of WAS. Better to be a was then a hope to be or never was. LOL

I don't understand people geting their panties in a wad over a post after the fact that all has been discussed. I offered an alternative if he needed stuff now. Mo razzed me and I responded in fun.
****************** And was directed at me in fun
NOT Stallion or Chris Roach and there responses ???????????????? *************
But seem to like to add to it and not on topic EITHER.
It's only a forum board and the internet?
Life's too short and full of fun to get intoPI$$in contest with people without a sense of fun or humor.
Sorry. Race Hard and Have Fun in whatever type of racing (or posting) you enjoy.

Dude, I think you misunderstood me, I was mearly taking a jab at Stallions quote on sticking to the topic at hand, then he proceeds with a statement that has nothing to do with the topic at hand!
No jab at you what so ever. I respect your accomplishment!

"Fastest rubber tire backhoe"
I figure that this thread has already been hijacked so I will chime in here. I don't know much about a backhoe but can't help but wondering, what else do they make tires for backhoes out of besides rubber?
