Jim has assembled an 8.5 rear-end for me for a first generation firebird project.
I have the item - it looks great, have not installed it yet. It is a nova-8.5 w/ Eaton posi carrier and new Yukon gears w/ alloy axles. Brake build, the whole 9-yards.
He has been very good to work with, very fast build time (how many Pontiac vendors tell you that they have an 8 week to 8 month lag time). Let me tell you long lag times are NOT ALWAYS indicative of a quality builder who is in demand. Shipping was fine.
I will update when I get the thing in, but so far, I would recommend him highly.
