Anyone here worked with them, letting them do your engine work?
I see a lot of feedback about Butler, but not much on these guys.

Um ya Im going to have to ask you to do a search on the boards. I think you'll find what you need. That would be great.

Jack, I tried several searches, nothing turned up. I know there has to be something there, maybe I'm not thinking in the proper yellow page jargon to type the correct thing in the search box.
I sent them all my technical info, waiting for time and price quote. Only other people I'd dealt with before is Nunzi and Butler.

Try "PONTIAC DUDE", or just "DUDE".

Pontiac Dude is only one of the most respected Pontiac engine builders available anywhere! He will be building my next motor, he just doesn't know it yet!

Although I've never had him do a complete engine for me, I did purchase pistons and a rebuilt kit for my last rebuild on a 421. Excellent service, parts and prices. A +++ all the way!

P-Dude (Ken) is on my short list of one of the VERY few whom I'd trust to machine and build a Pontiac engine, if I needed anything more than my local guys can provide!
Top-notch Pontiac knowledge and service all the way.

I had Ken build my 455, 400 block/455 crank -its the 87 octane street warrior with all the extra's.
Its well built, i drove it in 99 degree/100% humidity florida weather and -6 degrees winter weather in massachusetts everyday. I take it to work everyday.
I also have taken it down the strip and will do more this summer.
He will treat you right and he stands by his work.
One of his engines was in High Performance Pontiac a couple months ago.

I don't deal with people who do NOT stand stand by their work.

I think you'll find Ken does some of the best Pontiac engine work around. He did my heads and I also had him spec out a cam for me. I gave him certain things I was looking for in a custom hyd roller and he nailed it.

Ken is a no bullsh!t, straight shooting kind of guy, who stands 100% behind ALL of his work (not just for some of his "select" customers like some other Pontiac vendor(s) are known to do).

Try this http://www.angelfire.com/fl4/pontiacdude428/kensspeedandmachineshop.html
Ken built the 455 in my 65 Cat Land Barge. I asked him to get us into the mid 13s. The Cat skipped the 13s and went right to the mid 12s.
But if you want to really know what is going on at his shop - ask Danee.
Ken and his entire family are some of the nicest people you will ever meet in this hobby.

There are half a dozen or so top-shelf engine builders in the pontiac world - he is one of them. I ordered from the Butler's because they are closer to me and shipping was less. Except for that, I would have ordered from Pontiac Dude. His reputation is as good as ANYONES.

I heard he was single-handedly responsible for the popularity of the mullet hairstyle in the 80's....... not sure if there is any truth to that rumor.
