On jan 15th I paid BC classic 600 For two 67 GTO bumpers and a battery tray. I got the bumpers in about 10 days and was told the tray was back ordered. I still have not recieved it. I have called several times and either get a recording or told the guy that handles the GM parts is not in or it is still back ordered. Come on 5 months for a battery tray. I faxed them this week and asked them to either credit my card back or send me the part. I know it is not a lot a money but it is the principle that really ticks me off. That was 4 days ago and I still have no response from them. How should I proceed?

Buy another battery tray.

Contact the CC company and have them reverse charge to your credit card.

That is all you can do. Considering they got the bumpers to you in 10 days, that is quite fast. I would just let it lie and either do the CC complaint and get a new tray of just wait. Not like the company is "really" screwing you. Some members have waited about the same time and longer for a simple common or even obscure part.

Just be thankful it didn't transpire as in you got your battery tray and waiting 5 months on the bumpers...honestly.

Banshee, " not like they are screwing you" If I paid for something I should get it or get a refund in a reasonable time. It makes no difference if it is a 25 dollar part or a 250 dollar part. I should not have to contact a vendor 4-5 times to get a common item or a refund. The thing that really pisses me off is the fact that they will not return a call or respond to a Fax. I have not been rude or obnoxious just simply asked for the part or a refund. It is the attention to details that seperates the great venders from the bad ones.
