Bill Metzger WAS a very good friend of mine. One of the smartest men I EVER knew. I am sorry to enform you and everyone. Bill has passed away. He had cancer that just took him down VERY fast. If you knew Bill he was a very upbeat and positive man. And he was like that till the end. He thought he he was gonna make it. Right down to the end. It is a shame. Just lets you kinda realize how mortal we realy are. And you should live evryday like it's your last.
Rest in peace Bill my good friend. Alot of us will miss you. Bill was only 44 yrs old.
Be Cool,
Ace
PS ..I probably have THE last Pontiac Solid cam ever made by him. Not sure if I wanna sell it though.

Oh Man.. What a sad thing..I'm so sorry for you Ace.
My condolences to his family and his friends.
And what a way to find out the status of your parts...
Although it's a fine Epitath for you to have said such nice things about the Man in your inquiring post...
Is there anything anyone is doing to help wrap up his business? Does someone need help there? Let us know Ace...

Wow that sucks, I barely knew him, but he was the nicest guy to deal with, I spoke to him in the fall I think, he e-mailed me all the specs, price etc, just got put on the backburner, now I was ready to order and could'nt get a hold of him, it's a shame, he was one of those guys, made you feel comfortable, even though he knew way more than you, he patiently answered you're questions, did'nt rush you off the phone. Well, I'd still like to use his specs ( Lazer Memorial Grind ) I think he'd be OK with that, what do you think, maybe I could get someone to grind it for me, ant other similar companies out there.??

Call the folks at Bullet Cams. They are a smaller consumer friendly company and do a lot of custom work. And they are Pontiac savey, call and ask for Bob Cook.

Steve, Bob Cook is no longer at Bullet Cams. He knew Bill. Maybe he bought Bills old place. Because Sonny would not say where Bob went. He just said "Bob is no longer with us". I talked to Bob right after Bills death. He said he seen Bill a few weeks prior. And he looked like skeleton with a big belly. Poor guy.

Call Tim Goolsby at Bullit cams. They also have the old Ultradyne cams that work very good in Pontiacs. Tim also used to work for Ultradyne.
