Barbourville, KY. I purchased a car from him. When i received the car, i disassembled the engine and found major fallacies of what he said it was. Future buyers, beware.

i thought i might list the things he stated to me.
1. he said the dports were professionally ported by Kaufmann and flowed 300 cfm. i knew this was streching the numbers, but understand different benches give different numbers.
i had the heads flowed and they went 220 cfm maxed out at .500 lift.
2. he told me the engine had the early forged rods that had been heat treated.
the engine had stock cast rods in it.
3. since the engine had a big roller in it, i asked if there was a lifter bore brace installed. he said he did one better. he stated the lifter valley had been completely welded up by a professional welding shop. i have seen pics of this done and wanted to inspect this procedure up close.
after pulling the valley pan, revealed there was no brace, no welding done, just a stock valley with no mods.
there are other things he stated, but after finding these bald face fallacies, anyone gets the picture of what kind of person this guy is.......
