View Full Version : Ebay scam: B and M Auto Parts
Long story, but there is a place in Texas called B and M Auto parts selling a lot of Olds stuff on Ebay. They have a habit of taking money and never shipping the parts. They billed my card within minutes of the order, never sent parts. Called and called, different story every time. Finally sent Citibank after them to recover.
So be careful.
Where in Texas are they out of?

It looks like he sells a ton of stuff, but can't get it out fast enough. No excuse though, probably should hire more people.
Yeah, if was just a slipup then I would be OK with it but I could tell they either didn't have the parts or just didn't care if they ever went out. I asked "did you sent the parts?". "yes we did". Ok, what's the tracking number? "Well I'll have to call you with that". 8 calls later, they said the parts actually didn't ship. Round 2. Same sh*t, but "UPS lost the package, we'll send a new one tomorrow". Again what's the tracking number, they actually got one this time but showed no scan at UPS. Last straw (8 weeks later), "where's the package?". Oh we sent it. Really, why didn't UPS scan it in? Oh I guess we'll have to call UPS.

They used to always sell stuff with no pictures, then I started seeing the same pictures for different parts. Always a really generic ad too... "Pontiac Heads for sale" for $400 and no pic. Plus their prices are insane. I would never buy anything off EBay that didn't have a picture or the right picture. They are bad news. Not sure how a place like that even stays in business.
I guess he isn't interested in telling us what city they are from.....
They were in Conroe, TX, but I think it says something else now. And yes, it's B and M Engine.

I've puchased some brackets I needed from them, got their name off ebay though, but I'm local so I went to get them, never had a problem, but I also went to their place of business to get the parts and did not have to worry about shipping.
They are in Spring, Tx., those familiar with Spring they are actually in Old Town Spring.
