I just replaced my second AGR box with a Lee box and the difference is so fantastic!
The AGR box was binding. AGR came up with all kinds of reasons like bleeding the box but none of them worked in the long run. I've been trying to contact AGR for a refund with no response.
If your reading this thinking about the AGR box forget it, get the Lee.

got one coming today from Summit to install on 2nd gen F-body and lets see how is the results after i get it on .
BTW which box did you have the stock replacement or the billet hp one ?

Harry, First I tried the 14-16 Billet, to sloppy. The replacement was the 12 to 1 GM case. Way too sticky no matter how I adjusted the lash.
The Lee box is fantastic and was the same price.

I also got an AGR Power Steering Gearbox, alongside the P/S pump, reusing the reservior. I would NEVER use these guys again. High priced item, alongside having to bleed the system (leaks like bad faucet). Then, having to get special fittings and hose lines. So don't get the system. Had to do it again, would just opt for a stock unit.

sad to hear you guys had problems with your units,
my two installs on the cars ,there was no problems at all , my feedback is both of them were tighter than what i expected to be in steering feel even i loosen them up a half turn on one of them, but again till now so far so good!

Harry, my main problem was they were too tight and sticky, no bounce back. When I switched to the Lee, the bounce back (return to center) was like a manual box.
Hopefully you got a couple good boxes.

I have a 1967 Lemans. What kind of "special fittings and hose lines" did you have to get? And where did you purchase them from?
