I had problem with my RobbMc starter that I bought 2 1/2 months ago. Called Robb, said send out to him. Mailed it Wednesday, he got it Friday, I got it back today. He repaired planetry gears, upgraded to clamp ring design while it was there. Very, very pleased with their promptness and service!! RobbMc is first rate and I want everyone to know about my great experience with them!! Kelly

Great to hear, and reinforces my decision to buy one for my new 455! My old McCleod mini starter has had "issues" with my low compression 400 since day one.

Mine had to go back for repairs also and Robb was great. He upgraded with no charge and got it back to me right away. His service is awesome. The starter is awesome.

I learned of his starters when he was giving discounts to forum members that got better as more people ordered them. I just bought mine and let me say as well, he is a top notch business man. I would pay full price 3 times over for one of these just for the great customer service. I think some of these companies out there need to model after guys like this. I have passed up on a ton of companies during my recent engine build because of poor customer service. I will pay extra every time when I feel I am being treated like a customer and not a distraction. :beerchug: to Robb.
Not to steal Robb's thunder, but I have to give a shout out to SD performance as well, more specifically Marcel. Same great service and awesome guys, and gals that work there. They both won a new loyal customer in me.

Thanks for positive feedback guys. We is small, but we is tryin'!
We had some issues with screws coming loose on some starters but we found an answer to the problem. We've also changed the design of the housing from three set screws to a clamp ring which makes it much easier to rotate the solenoid.
In case anyone missed it, we now have a group purchase going on our new fuel pressure regulator. The regulator is a dead-head and return style in one:
