The closer I got to this I realized it had a Pontiac in it. I'm not real big into these types of cars, even though they are popular. Still cool nonetheless with the Pontiac in the Ford. These aren't my pictures, but I saw this car at another show.

Way cool. I've always liked the "Rat Rods" and thought dropping a Pontiac V-8 would be a great way to beat them at their own game!

I've seen enough old iron with SBC's and autos to last a lifetime. Anything else is eye candy to me.
If you guys like that car go to www.pontiacheaven.org and check out my deuce 5 window and my brothers car called the Purple People Eater. Axle

I too am sick of seeing small block chevys in hot rods. We just finished up a '40 Ford coupe with a real strong running 10:1 400, 4 speed, and 3:55 gears. We used an Hurst saddle mount that bolts to the front of the engine and it made the 400 basically a drop in job. It mounted up perfectly on the flat head engine mount holes. We only had to do some work on the firewall so it would accept an HEI. It sure makes people scratch their head when a small block chevy isn't under the hood.

it's good to see a pontiac in a rod. there used to be a guy south of here who had a 40 pontiac with a 421 4spd for power.
personally i prefer a stock looking body but anyonitac powerplant is a good thing.

Did anyone notice that that Pontiac engine had "96" D port heads on it?
