Shaker 455- Five thumbs up!!

I'd given him two thumbs up but that just doen't seem like enough!!

I just wanted to say publicly that you just can't meet a better dude that Jeff- AKA Shaker455- here at PY forum.

Jeff had volunteered to help me w/ a carb rebuild several months ago. Did a great job.

Then on his way back from Norwalk yesterday, he swings in to take a look at my car. Cool always glad to put a face w/ a name. But not only does he take the time to stop in Syracuse on his way from Ohio to New Hampshire ( no small deal) , he proceeds to work on my car for three hours and gives me a three page list of things i should do to it to make it run better. and he still won't accept any money from me.

And one of my buddies stopped by to meet him as he's looking for someone to redo a carb for him and Jeff proceeds to tweak his car's timing and in 20 minutes my buddy says his car is running better then ever.

Holy crap!!, you're just not going to meet a better pontiac guy (hell, a better person) than Jeff.

Thanks Man!!!! you helped me pin down some issues and I'll keep working that list to narrow down why it's not behaving like it should.

I'm not surprised to hear these reply's. I figured that I wasn't the only one he's helped.

Hector, awesome to meet you too!! Sorry we kept you from seeing your bed sooner than 1 am- ouch. long day for you two. Norwalk is A great possibility for next year, I was talking to Perry after you left and he'd mentioned he'd love to do it next year. I don't think I'd take my car but I'd love to go for the ride. My buddy w/ a numbers matching 67 FB 400 said he'd be interested too. So maybe we can all road trip in a Pontiac convoy!! Thanks again for all the tips and advice.

That's great to acknowledge what the guy did, I am sure it makes him feel as if it was alll worth it. Great when people appreciate things done for them. I know there are many Jeff's on this forum. Good stuff!

The Pontiac circle is not that big so you'd be surprised who you bump into at events like Norwalk.

Jeff modified my carb also.Then we brought the car to him,and he spent quite a few hours tuning.What a difference.The car has a Dominator and Victor;it idles and responds like it has an 850 and Performer RPM.
