Who has the best quality for Rally II wheels for a 67 and do they have them complete?

Hi Les,

IMO - Find a set at a swap meet and have them blasted and powder coated. You can pick a 14 or 15" set up for about 50 bucks. Just make sure they are 'true' before you restore them. One of mine was bent and I had to do a 'do over' on the restore.

I went with 15 x 7 instead of the 14" wheels...looks much nicer..imo.

Good luck,

Dan

Got mine for my 66, less cap and lugs (don't use trim rings, don't need them) by Wheel Vintiques. Purchased from Summit, as they had the best price. Real nice chrome and looks great on my black car. What every you get make sure you use 4 1/2" back space on the rear. If you use 4" they will rub on the outer rear wheel well. 4" would be OK for the front. If your interested I have two 15x7 with 4" back space you could use up front. they have less than 1000 miles on them. They were on the rear and had the problem as stated. You can get the caps, and lugs from our host.

When I was looking for the same for my '72, I researched Wheel Vintiques, but found quite a few complaints from other buyers. Could not find anyone that had had a bad experience with Specialty Wheels ....I think they might be in Portland OR.......I bought from them and the owner is very nice and helpful, too. Will build you ANY backspacing you want.......unlike Wheel Vintiques which is a very long wait if you want something non-standard.

The site is "under construction". I am also thinking of chromign my original 77 Rally II wheels, but want ot see how would it look first.

I also would like to chrome the front grille.
