Like the title says, would anybody recommend a good machinist in the Hatboro/Newtown Area?
Also, can anyone recommend a place where I can get a q-jet core cheap around here? Most salvage yards around here don't store cars older than '96.

I reccomend Speed Equipment Corp on Street Rd in Bensalem. 215-638-0300. Located behind the Nifty Fiftys and NAPA near Knights Rd. Jim always treats me good and has helped out a few other Pontiac guys in a pinch. Tell him I reccomended you.

ditto the above. Martyn Motors (Morrisville 215-295-2500) is also good, plenty of pontiac experience, same area and the two shops have had a working relationship in the past

Martyn Motors is THE place to go in my opinion. They have built about a dozen engines for me since the early 80's, mostly Hipo Pontiacs. Never a problem. They are currently building my 462/KRE headed Pontiac. Honest and reliable, been in business since the 1940's.
Pontiacs are a speciality in their shop and they do the machine work for a popular Pontiac engine builder not too far from here.
Call Kevin or Barry at the Morrisville number that X-bird gave you. You won't be disappointed.
