Fastest radiator service ever

On October 25, I called Mark 7 for a new radiator to replace my Rodney Red radiator. I spoke to Mark personally, (very friendly and helpful, by the way,) and they happened to have one in stock. I opted for the anodized option, and I even needed a slight modification done to the radiator.

I received it today....that's only 7 business days from the time I placed an order until me actually receiving it........I'm STOKED!!!!....this thing is a really nice piece!!

Thanks for posting the link. That's great service, I will probably order mine from Mark as well, but I have a few other things on the go right now. Can u put a picture on the site for all to see before u put it in?? Would like to see one before I order.

With the shipping and anodizing......a little over $800. It's work out to about the same as a Rodney Red if you take off the price of the anodizing......but with WAY more cooling capacity..... It's not exactly an apples to apples comparison due to the different core configuration.

I like it not shiny too!!! Gotta likey the stealth......

Looks like a nice rad, especially with the original style mould type indents in the top and bottom tanks. I think mine will be just plain aluminum, no anodizing. Did u get the aluminum bracket as well? They offered me a bracket for the top with the rad no xtra. Maybe this is only for plain tops tanks?? Not sure. Now u just have to get it in there. LOL. :hooray:

Yesterday my new radiator arrived!

After reading this post i also ordered a radiator for my 1965 Catalina from Mark and made the same great experience: Even though mine was the first mid 60s fullsize Pontiac radiator they built and it had to be shipped all the way to Germany everything went extremly smooth and fast. The communication to determine the layout and size of the radiator was helpful and uncomplicated and the thing looks just nice...a pleasure to do buisness with folks like that.:thumbup:
