Advanced Plating - referrals?

Has anyone had any work performed by Advanced Plating in Nashville, Tennessee? Looking to get all the metal replated/polished on my '65 Cat 2+2.

They do a lot of work for Holley, so that should tell you something.

Hope they are top-notch. Since I posted the original message I received a preliminary estimate. Yikes! I think they misunderstood and thought I was looking to get my bright work gold plated.

Advanced Plating is probably the best in the business. At the Detroit Autorama this year, SIX of the Ridler award contenders had chrome done by them. I had them rechrome some Lincoln bumpers for me and am thrilled with how incredible they look.

When I worked for Stevens Aviation-BNA back in the late 90's, Advanced Plating did
most of our polishing and plating work. The only problems we had was keeping the
chrome plating on prop spinners. It (the plating) embrittled the aluminum causing the
spinner flange to crack.

I have a '65 2+2 that I restored myself, so I can relate to your comments. I can't even imagine what a place like this would charge for all the trim on this car. I used a local plater for my bumpers, which turned out okay. Nothing close to the quality that Advanced would produce, I'm sure. I polished all the stainless trim myself using Eastwood supplies and a cheap bench grinder to mount the buffing wheels. Not for the impatient.
