On Oct. 3 I placed an order with JBP for 6x heads and was told 6wks.Nov.3 I e-mailed them and was told, about a week or so because one of the head porters was out sick. Its now Dec.23 still waiting.Should I be concerned? I know they have a good reputation, but Im getting kinda upset.I was going to order more parts from them but think Ill spend my money with someone else.

You DO NOT get any more reliable honest folks than the Butlers. There will be no problems. Sometimes for what ever reason things in the custom automotive field do get delayed. Give them a polite call though if you are concerned. I`m postive they will explain it and apoligize.

They're good guys, I wouldn't worry about being scammed with them, they are probably very busy trying to keep up with the demand. I bought most of my Pontiac specific parts from them. Never an issue.

Like FASTGTO said give them a call. I don't agree with starting a post like this without giving them a fair chance. JMO

Im not bad-mouthing them,I know they are one of the best in the Pontiac world.I know it takes time and they are probably very busy this time of year.I ordered a cam from them in sept. and had it in 3 days.Guess I just got them at a bad time.Ive never had custom work done before so 3 months just seems long to me.

I've NEVER had a problem with them. I just sent a set of E-Heads to them a couple of weeks ago. I've always enjoyed dealing with them. They built the motor thats in my car now and I always call them for parts.

I have always enjoyed talking with the Butlers. I spent a lot of money with them when I built my last engine. If I was to do it over again I would call them for everything. There is no company more knowledgeable or trustworthy in the industry. And I'm not badmouthing any of the others either.

My machinist (first time using him, & last ) has had my engine since June 07'. One excuse after another. I'm just lucky that there is no hurry yet! He's getting another call this PM. You seem to be in good hands.......Dave K.
