[Ram Air IV Jack]

This person used to identify himself on Ebay as krita. He has since changed his name. The items he sells seem to be of good quality BUT he has invented certain parts he claims your car needs to be correct.

Take a look at the Ram Air cable block he is currently selling. He claims it is an exact copy of a NOS piece. In fact, this part is wrong, compared to my original and a NOS piece I have. On his block, the cables go into the long side of the block but on the originals, the cables go into the short side.

He was also trying to sell air cleaner heat tubes for Pontiacs a year or so ago telling everyone that the shiny tubes were correct and the black tubes most people have are nothing but GM replacments. He was in error again as the originals were black, at least on the 68-70 GTO's. I still have one of my black originals on my 69. The shiny tubes are aftermarket.

Some nuts he was selling for placement on certain engine components he claimed were needed to be correct. This was not the case and I pointed this out to him from what the Pontiac Illustrated guide and parts book read. He of course disagreed.

This guy claims to have a gold concourse Judge and use to only sell Pontiac parts. He has since broadened his part selections to other GM lines and some Mopar cars as well. He has good feedback but be careful and know what you need when buying from him. It seems his knowledge of some Pontiac parts and there placement is limited.

Ram air jack is wrong, Those kryta boys are a great asset , look at all the trinket type stuff they are offering, correct headmarking bolts , brackets ,ect. 5 years ago you would be scouring the boneyards. while some of the parts are not exactly correct , in my opinion thats better than nothing.

RAIV jack more or less hit the nail on the head. the kryta brothers run inline tube. they may sell under other names on ebay to avoid tax issues, I don't know. just a guess.

I know one brother is more into Pontiacs while the other is more into Olds. Their tactics at inline are VERY well known. they've pissed off A LOT of people, yet some people have no issues with them at all.

btw, cars did not have all those labels on them when they came off the line. yes, they did have some of the labels as I still have originals on a bunch of parts, but they have in fact made some of them up. the last part is straight from kryta from a very reliable source.

and for the record, there are some things I intend to buy from inline tube. I just hope it ends up being a smooth transaction.

Ive never had any issues, ever. Everything i bought on ebay was shipped promptly as well. You have to realize that some customers expect too much or are un realistic and 99% of the time over exaggerate what really happened. Dont like them dont buy from them ,simple. Yea i agree there making tags ,ect that never existed and i DONT like how they call theyre repo parts on ebay NOS.

There are many concourse items available, these are detail items that separate the first place cars from the rest. No Fenders, hoods, doors, seats but all the small detail items that are always missing. The other owner started motorcitysupercars to manufacture oldsmobile items. You are a big fan I see you get involved in anything with my name on it.

Lets start with the ram air block and bracket – all 69’s used the bracket with the cut out center and the smaller block, 70’s used the solid bracket that aligned the cable more inline. You are flat out wrong – The assembly manual and the service manual both show the hole in the center – look it up. I made it because I was tired of seeing the wrong repro bracket on so many nice cars that deserved better. I have sold a ton of them so plenty of others agree with me.

I still have some of the heat tubes but I am saving them for my cars. No Original heat tube was back paper. They may have been black metal or silver metal but always metal. Look at some original cars. I have 56,000 original 69 judge, 40,000 original 69 conv, 9,000 trans am and have seen the metal ones on countless original cars. What is the beef, if you don’t like it don’t buy it why bash me if you do not agree, we all have an opinion

The slotted nuts you talk about are correct – talk to the guy that has restored more of these RAM AIR cars than anyone Scott Tieman he is a good friend.

And finally I do have a Concourse Judge GTOAA awarded it best of concourse in Pontiac mi, and another GOLD in KY and last year it was the highest point car in the GTOAA show and it will be in NY this year. And won the Autorama Show car series 2 times which no other car has ever done – Don’t take my word for it ask the officials of the GTOAA. The stories are always better than life – Ebay under other names for TAX issues – sounds like a spy story tell me more – tax is tax anyway you slice it. I do not mix my employees up in the specifics of the Pontiac detail items I handle them myself since I know them so well.

Every label and tag I make is the real deal, and if you do not like them do not put tem on your car but where is your proof. Please tell me what is made up except this story. We can get to the bottom of it. I have a book with over 6000 photos of original cars, the detail are mind blowing – I can make detail items for the next 20 years and will have not made them all. Nothing on ebay is called NOS that is NOT, for all you that don't know you are allowed a 55 letter title that is used for you item to be found in a search I like to used 68 69 70 71 72 GTO Judge Chevelle NOS OEM. Now they never made a 68 judge or a 72 judge but that is in the title and they never made a judge chevelle. The search title is just that a search key word. If it was not legal EBAY would remove the listings. In the body of the listing it is never listed as nos – maybe just like nos, made to nos spec. nos parts with out the box and part number on the box is simply not nos I neither have listed nos or have the boxes or part numbers.

This is a really good dialogue, it's good to see we have plenty of passion with our Hobby! In the long runs everyone wins with more research and innovation. My car would probably look like it belongs in the flintstones, if I did not utilize this forum and other websites showing detailed car restoration processes. Everyone should make a point to meet at Saratoga Springs and enjoy our cars. A vendor open house that showes the business from the inside out is also a good way to to see the company's committment to quality control and also hear ideas from potential customers that may lead to new or improved products lines.
