View Full Version : Mark Matuschka aka 'Flash' fraud

I am having problems with a shop in Wisconsin that took my deposit on an engine
($2695), then agreed to cancel the order a couple weeks later and refund my money. Mark sent me $1000 back via paypal in December, but then has failed to send the rest. I told him I would be happy to pay any paypal fees, etc.

His name is Mark Matuschka, his shop name is Flash Automotive, he goes by 'hungryrunflash' on ebay ( http://myworld.ebay.com/hungryrunflash/) and his shop is in Wisconsin.

I sent an email tonight giving him 48 hours to respond before I start taking action. Question is, what is the best course of action here?

if im not mistaken most credit card companies will refund you the money and back charge it to the guy you were doing business with, talk to your credit card company and see how it works

I am always somewhat hesitant to drag other people into my messes. Trying to resolve issues like this is usually messy and tedious.

Yes, but I am not sure how that would work through paypal.

The refund happened. I am excited to get my money back, even though I had to wait for almost 3 months.
