Ref: American Grafitti Motorsports AC Delete box.

I ordered the AC Delete box on Jan 2. They billed my credit card on Jan 7. . I made e-mail contact with this company on Jan 8, Jan 29, and Feb 11 to inquire as to the status of the order. Each time I was advised it would be shipped shortly. On Feb 20 I attempted to make telephone contact. Both business telephone numbers answered with a message that the mailbox was full. Over the next several days I made several unsuccessful attempts at telephone contact with American Graffiti Motorsports.

On Feb 21st I sent them an email canceling the order. Again I was unable to make phone contact as the numbers rang busy or if they answered I got a message that the mailbox was full

Today, On Mar 24, nearly three months after I ordered the part and a month after I canceled the order the part was left on my porch by DHL. I attempted to call each phone number. Again the 800 number is no longer working and the second number rings busy.

They may have the corner on the market for the AC Delete Box but this is the worst performance I have ever experienced from an auto parts supplier.

Your lucky you purchased it by credit card. Phone your credit card company and tell them the product was not as advertised { even if you have to fib a little }. Tell them you did recieve it but you are shipping it back. Keep all reciepts and e-mail transcripts if you have them. You will get your money back from the CC company and they will deal with the jerk off`s.

called the credit card company within 15 minutes of receiving the package. Faxed them a formal dispute letter this morning. Based on the phone numbers not working and no response to the emails I sent American Graffiti, CC company will credit my account within a week...

Ordered mine Feb. 5, still haven't gotten it. We have been unable to contact them by phone or e-mail. I'm guessing that this is a one or two man deal, and demand is far exceeding expectations, so they are all the way backed up. I wish that it would come soon, though.

i just placed an order and am now very nervous. i should have looked here first. called my bank and ofcourse they took payment but now i can not get in touch with anyone and the phone number listed just rings and rings. i sent another email stating that i was canceling the order if i dont not recieve a response by the end of the week

I have been trying to order one for my '81 Vette since December. I agree there service sucks. No call back when I can leave a message. Thus is all I need to complete the Vette And get back together.

I ordered one last summer and had it in about a week. Worked like a charm. Must be some drama going on over there.

I ordered one for my 69 fb and received it in a week and the fit was great . Just don't understand ?

you guys obviously got yours when they were making them. they used to have them on ebay advertising 2-3 week wait. they have not had ebay listings in over 2 months. i dont get it either its a piece of stamped ABS plastic. you would think that you could bang out hundreds a week. ive unfortunatly paid for one but i supposed its not a huge deal considering its almost summer. i just need to make up some sorta of cover for the heat entrance! nowhere near enough room for a 5" downpipe with the AC box there

im going to modify mine i think. ill just hack it straight down and glass in a piece of sheet metal. and then maybe when they get their chit together ill grab one unless mine comes out really nice!

Just got the e-mail. American Graffiti is BANKRUPT! Guess I lost my money on this deal. Anybody have a kit for '70-'81 Firebird the want to get rid of?

Same Same... we ended up putting in a paypal claim.. they ended up having to refund via paypal..thankflly... but your got to be on the ball with paypal and claim within 45 day.. they tried to string us along past a month.. No go. Your either got them or not got them...

Okay... heres how it works... You have to send the product back for a credit card dispute to be settled. I refuse to pay the shipping and this pack of thieves won't answer the phone or respond to emails so I can't get a return number. Don't expect the bank or credit card companys to be any help....

So... after waiting over 30 days, I cancelled the dispute. I'm not spending money to get my own money back. I have $150.00 in the unit. I'll sell it to the first guy who sends me an email at [email protected] for what I have in it plus shipping ( + the paypal fee if you pay me that way, which is another $5.00). (prefferably USPS as it's 30 miles to the UPS store..) This unit was ordered to fit a 71 Gto Vert, don't know what else it will fit...

thanks for the heads up on the 45 days. i just filed my claim. it was 43 days! haha. i feel i gave american graffiti enough time to atleast respond to one of my many emails or phone calls wouldnt you say!? if i doesnt get resolved mine is for sale whenever it gets here also
