Holley

I put the holley 850 on runs good and so forth. The question is do Holley,s come in smoother than Q-jets still seems as fast just not as violent on the launch?

Cliff Ruggles has posted many times about how his 4781-2 Holley carb is slower off the 60 ft times, faster on the mph, but still runs a couple of hundredths of a second slower on the et. Most of the loss was between the launch and the 60 ft point. On some chassis the Holley might be a better deal for traction. Most on the street will never pick out .02 difference in ET.
