Been a while since HPP's been flamed here. I filed a temp change of address with the PO and HPP changed my address. Car Craft and Hemmings didn't change. I've been emailing back and forth, and it's going to take them five MONTHS to correct their blunder due to some incredible lead time for mailings. They ignore my request for a refund, gotta keep those readership numbers up for the ad bucks I guess.
Last response was late on Labor Day evening so I suspect they come from off-shore.
Wish HPP would change ownership again.

please don't blame HPP itself. the culprit is Primedia, (the reason i left their employ) the parent company which publishes more magazines than just about any other. they've bought up so many companies there's no one left to buy up anything they own. Hammer the Primedia offices in placentia--they're the ones that control all the books they publish--and your subscription/ refund request. nothing to do with the staff of the magazine at all.

Don't blame HPP, blame Primedia. Get on the phone with them and rip them a new one.
Just so everyone knows it's not this HPP. I sent in for a free trial,and did not subcribe. They keep sending me past due notices and credit warnings.

They're not owned by Primedia any more, the current owner is Source Interlink Media. Did you call them or email them? In this case it's probably best to talk to a real person instead of emailing them. The subscriber services number is 800-568-6130.

I agree, it's not HPP or Tom D's fault.
I have a friend that works for Source Interlink Media, and had a couple of stories set up on my car that ended up being shot down by the main people at SIM. HPP and Tom were ready to do the articles, so...
