I'm looking for a good rear bumper, either re-finished or in straight usable condition.

I think you mean 70-2...73 is different due to new government impact standards?

I believe that the bumpers are the same, it's the brackets that are different.
Yes, it is the brackets that are different.
If you go the core route, I have one that's in driver condition, that has a slight twist to it. It would need straightening and a rechrome to be perfect. 50 bucks.
