Dash Bezel

I'm looking for a nice wood grain dash bezel for a 1970 Firebird Formula with rally gauges and no air conditioning. Let me know what you have. [email protected]

I'm supposed to have one of these - but not sure if it's RTS, or non RTS.
If its non RTS i will bring it home and take some pix.
I know its woodgrain for non a/c.

Not all non RTS bezels are correct for 1970. It would need to have separate openings in the bezel for the wiper and headlamp callouts. This would be correct thru 72. 73 and 74 non RTS bezels have these callouts on one pad and therefore only one larger opening in the bezel.

the one I have is 70-72 style with the dual call out openings like you mentioned.

it also has raised lips around instrumentation holes.

But, it's from a non-gauge / non a-c Car.

If you think you can use this one Eagle, let me know.
Its in good condition.

I'm not sure if I could use it or not. Can you send me a picture of the back? Maybe I can just cut out the holes for the rally gauges. Anyone tried that? My email is in the first post if you have pictures.

I have oa couple from a 1973 formula, will this work for you ??

I'll get some pix taken of it in next day or two and send to your email.

I'm sure you "could" cut your own holes with a hole saw.
Maybe go under sized a little, and finish to correct size with a cylinder/roll sander might be a good way to avoid messing up woodgrain around cut edges.
Ideally, i'd do a test on a crap bezel first.

I sourced this piece a few years ago for a local guy who built a kick azz Formula drag car. He wanted one he could cut his own holes for aftermarket gauges. This one has a lot of blank space for that.

Never ran into him again after i found it, and been too slack to try and locate him.

The 73 ones are different, they will have a single opening for the wiper/headlight switch script rather than two openings. Thanks anyway.
