Over the past few years, I've bought several carb kits and used the posted advice on these forums from Carb King. Recently when I decided to use a dual quad setup I sought out his advice. He spent 45 minutes or so out of his busy day on the phone with me. I traded him out of 2 AFB cores and bought 2 of his kits for those carbs. I had them rebuilt locally and finally got around to installing them and cranking the car this week. After following his directions, the car cranked fine, but didn't idle after warming up quite right. I'm no mechanic, so I gave him a call, hopefully to save me a lot of trial and error. He told me immediately what to do, I made the slight changes and now the car idles very nice.

If you need kits and/or any thing to do with afb's especially, Jon is THE MAN!!!

Jon is a fine gentleman that offers professional level counsel, w/o charge, to anyone who calls and is polite enuf to listen. Jon was a HUGE help on my dual quad setup when I encountered a cracked body on one of my 50 yr. old AFBs, and he walked me thru pressure testing the bowl and staking the float needle seats. He also sells the best quality carb kits/parts obtainable in today's market.
