I don't know much about Pontiac stuff, but I have a shifter for sale in 67-81 parts for sale section with a picture of it.

Don't know what you refer to as lightening rods but I have a shifter and have been told it's for a 1970-1978 Trans Am anf Firebird, Hurst factory set up for a Borg Warner T-10 Trans.
Any interest and I can send photos

Lightning rods was a shifter made by Hurst. it has several levers sticking up similar to a Lenco shifter.

You must be seeking an aftermarket set to work with a Turbo transmission. I don't know of any that were F-body specific. The only cars "factory" built with L/Rods were the '83 and '84 Hurst/Olds, which happened to be equipped with the OZ code 200 4R transmission.
Below is a pic. of the rods in an '84 H/O I owned.

I'm looking for the Hurst set specific for F-bodies, like the one here (on a Camaro):

I have them in one of my '79 T/A's. Hurst sold them and they fit right up to a 350 turbo tranny and work with the factory console. I haven't seen any for sale in years. Sorry I can't help you.
