pontiac engine 350 accessories on a chevy 350

I have a 68 lemans that I am putting in a chevy 350 that I have been building. Right now I have the short block done and am running low on money. I have a pontiac 350 in my garage that is pretty shot. What accessories from the pontiac engine can I reuse (pulleys, distributor, gas pump, oil pump, water pump, ect)?

Also, the lemans right now has a OHC 6 in it that is stock. what is the shopping list to put the chevy 350 in besides motor mounts/brackets from a 68-72 chevelle? (anyone know where to find these besides craigslist looking for chevelles being parted?)

There are alot of guys on here that would much rather keep that OHC-6 in the car than put a chebby motor in it. A handful of us, including myself, wouldn't even want to put a real Pontiac V8 in it's place.

With the exception of some of the pullys, none of the Pontiac accessories you mentioned would work on the Chevy. Not sure if the waterpump pully bolts are the same spacing as SBC.

Make sure you keep all the accessories for the OHC-6.

I am located in Sacramento CA. The engine is totally rebuildable, but would need at least a new cam, bored, pistons... The heads look fairly nice. The guy I bought the car from had unbolted the cam and heads to gain access to the pistons, didn't do anything, but left them off so the pistons have some surface rust but the heads looked nice. The guy before me did not know if the heads had hardened seals or not. the engine's oil looked like it had never been over heated, it was really old but not murky so there was no water in it.

I believe that it is the base model not the sprint because it did not have the 4 barrel carb, however that could have been replaced.

I thought about rebuilding it first, but it seemed like parts were rather expensive for a 175 hp engine. for the same price i could do a 350 hp build which seemed moderately more attractive :).

To go from the I6 to V8 will I need to change the wiring harness?
