Has anyone on this forum had any issues buying parts through this site, PM's etc?? I have had a member cash a check for parts and have not heard from him since May 21st. I have left PM's, tried email and even called their cell.

They replied to several threads recently so I know they visit this site regularly. I am giving them a chance to "come through" before I list their name. We are talking $600 by the way.

I finally heard from the seller, but no definitive shipping info or reasons for the delay. Unbelievable.......I sent money as promised and just want the parts to complete the car. Called their local police department today and in the process of having things investigated. I continue to withhold names, because he has been on this site for quite sometime and hoping this is all just a mix-up of sorts.

I have been trying to get in touch with you.......I sent you $600 for the 2 fenders and you mentioned last night shipping and packaging came to $125???? I haven't heard from you at all otherwise, how am I to know I will even get the fenders if I send you another $125?

How about you send them if you haven't and I send the $125 once they arrive?? I would even come and get the the week of June14th, but I am not sure I trust they will be there if I drive 1700mi one way.

I trusted you because you have been on this forum since 2001.

Dave has always been stand-up on parts with me. Something is not right-that isn't Dave's way. Hope you get the deal squared away soon Mike.

I have heard good things by another senior member as well which is a little reassuring and when I called to let him know I wanted them etc., seemed like a great Pontiac guy, interesting and passionate about these cars and helping others. I don't know what to think, no returned calls and PM box full, but he has responded to tech questions on here during this whole process.

I am a straight shooter who gives everyone the benefit of the doubt and have shipped things to people as well in a timely manner, responding to questions and diligently/promptly supplying tracking info etc.

Dave provided many parts on my 63 SD build, I also met him at Norwalk last year, he is a standup guy. Something else is going on.

I had to chase a guy down for close to 2 years to get my parts. Found him on some other sites and showed up in his town to get them. He was a very new member here but had done business with several people on this site. Had every excuse in the world and gave me something extra thinking it would make it right. People still say he is good to deal with but they are all local to him.

If you feel you've gave him a fair chance to explain himself, then I would call him out publicly. I know I like hearing feedback about sellers I'm about to deal with.

Just had a great conversation with Dave for about 15 minutes and turns out his character is commendable. .....just having a bad week etc. and working way too much in my opinion. Fenders are being shipped today!
