I sold my car to a nice couple from Fayetteville, NC. They need a REASONABLY priced Pontiac guy to help them get "tuned in" to there 1968 Pontiac GTO with a performance 455. Basically a Go-to person for repairs and advice. They also need someone who can put a speedometer in "cheaply" as I will be paying for the swap.
Recommendations??
Thanks,
Pete

If they want, PM me and I will give you my email and cell.
Happy to help them find what they need.
In Raleigh, we have a experienced Pontiac eng builder who is a third generation shop. He and son builds some nice Pontiac engines, and have done so for decades, building for many local, and NC Pontiac people.
Full machine shop as well.
They are old school and salt of the earth people, who will help them find what they need in the way of a mechanic experienced in Pontiacs.
They were involved in Pontiac racing back in the day so know about everyone.
Thats their best bet from where I am sitting right now.
Another option;
The local club TARHEEL TIGERS, which Steve Veatch (member here) is President probably has some ideas as well.
I am a member, but not active so dont know whos in the club from that area.
Another option;
Two collectors I know in that area (or inside of 30 miles) might help.
I would have to contact them and dig for their numbers.
Neither post on here or are members, but one owns a rare collection of all make cars including some rare Pontiacs (at least he did few years ago)
Happy to help them make contact with Mr Boyette at the shop.
