62 grand prix needs total restoration very solid body only rust issue is the drivers side 1/4 panel the rest of the body is solid with some dings and scrapes the floor boards or solid the frame is solid the trunk floor will need a few miner patches welded in the car came from california about where it sat for a lot of years the car is brown now was originally black with white interior the car was converted to a 4 speed somewhere along the lineit has power steering, power brakes ,power windows.asking 5500.00 with 4 speed or will remove 4 speed parts asking 4000.00 with parts to put back to automatic can email pictures if interested (708)563-2151 John

yes it does run it sat for a long time i put a new starter ,coil,plugs wires and rebuilt carb motor sounds good John

My 62 has one and I would sell it if I was planning on keeping the car but I'll sell mine with the car. Just trying to price mine against some others I've seen

There is a console on ebay right now. I have been told before that the consoles can sell for $1500. IDK if that's true but we'll see with this auction

I've seen the complete 4 speed consoles going from around $1100 to $1800 and they were really pitted and needed restoration. That one on Ebay looks to be in reasonably nice shape. Might actually be worth what he's asking, although I hate to admit it. They ain't cheap, that's for sure.

Have seen them go for stupid money.I have one in my 63 bucket seat cat and just got one for my 62 GP.I think the going "fair" price if complete and in good condition is around a grand.Tom

My last spair good one I sold for a grand and the person that bought it didnt even bother to argue about the price.
