Inline Tube. Bought a front disc brake setup for my 68 GTO and was very happy with the setup. Based on that, Thursday I ordered a correct booster and master cylinder for my 71 GTO & put a rush on it as the car is apart. Asked if the parts were avaialable and was told they were
Didn't come friday, didn't come monday. Called this morning... ILT: Sorry we tried to call you, the master is on back order so we didn't ship anything. Me: Why didn't I get a call? ILT we called a number and left a message. Me: What number did you call?
ILT: Can't tell you, we lost the paperwork.
Ask to speak to the sales manager. The guy is an a$$hole. No apoligy, just "We called and left a message". Then he starts raising his voice at me at which point I hang up on him. Call back and ask to speak with someone above him and I'm told the only ones above him are the owners and they don't speak to customers..
I am now left to scramble and attempt to get the parts I need so I can get the car back together for POCI in W. Va next week end...
I'll post here the name of the company that is able to take care of me so you have an alternative to INLINE TUBE

Spoke with Mike at Performance Years Tech today. He went out of his way to track down the parts I needed, and called me back twice. Hope to see the parts Friday.
Thanks Performance Years.. Cost me a few more bucks but I guess you get what you pay for.
As for Inline Tube.. The mark of a good business is not how well, or quick they fill an order, but how they handle the mistakes. In the case of Inline Tube they screwed up large then compounded it by failing to take responsibility and treating me poorly. I'll not be doing any business with them in the future.

Sorry fo the late reply - i was at an oldsmobile show the last week and in WV for the POCI the entire last week and did not run into you - we were in the swap meet for the week. Got back yesterday at 3 in the morning and now working Sunday to catch up and respond to you PM
It has been a crazy year - the rush was late and it left many suppliers out of product quick - the 70-72 master is not available anywhere - you can make 50 calls no one has it - including us.
Before we ship an incomplete order we like to call the customer and let them know and that is what was done. Some guys do not want to accept the answers we have if they are not good. We had the booster and had plenty of them at the show - there is no ETA on the master - We are waiting the same as you.
It is hard to put a car together a week before a show and expect everything to be available - Sorry we let you down. - john

John,
Performance Years tech made calls for me and secured the correct master cylinder in less than a day. Had both pieces to me two days later. So the part was available and I did get it.
The comment "It is hard to put a car together a week before a show and expect everything to be available" is annoying. I wasn't trying to put a car together a week before the show, I was making emergency repairs on a finished car so I could drive it to the show. These are the situations where company's get to show thier true colors.
Bottom line they lost my paperwork and I would still be waiting for the part if I hadn't called them. The Customer Service Supervisor I talked to was a rude jerk who obviously didn't care whether I got my car together or not.
For my money, I'll go somewhere else in the futrure.

I ordered a complete disc brake kit from them. As well as all 67 GTO HO trans lines. The lines were not correct, and the parking brake cable for the 67 GTO was also way to short. Among some other smaller items. I'm running about 50/50 with their products. I hate it when small simple things don't fit by a long ways, what they are supposed to. It causes delays that should never happen.

Was that the owner's response that he was away and busy? Then he blamed the customer for waiting until the last minute? Not much of an apology. Thanks for the warning.

I havent found an aftermarket business or even a parts store that doesnt make mistakes but john always has come through for me and in my opinion makes and stocks the best parts for our gto's. Its hard to control every employee every minute, especially when their doing all the shows they do. I do this every day, and believe me it happens to me almost every day. Give em another chance when your ready.

I will not do business with Inline Tube either. They treated me poorly when I had a problem.
Try "Right Stuff Detailing". I had a problem with a part I got from them and they were true professionals. The exact opposite of Inline Tube.
