I messed up,I admit it! hired a chevy guy to build a pontiac.just gotta vent! this guy was supposed to be a good mechanic,a local man who i considered a friend. I knew going in he had a drinking problem,he assured me that there would be no drinking while working on my car.To make a long story short,I will just say that the cam was installed wrong,he also used the wrong timing cover,(had 2,did not know the difference). to top off the situation he got drunk and was out raising hell in my car,burning rubber up and down the street,this was with a new clutch and pressure plate that only had about 50 miles on them! Even worse,it got away from his drunk ass and he ran it in a ditch,thank GOD no major damage was done. I found out later he was driving around town telling people that it was HIS car. if it would had not been for a GOOD friend calling me and telling me what was happening,i probably would not have a car left! Needless to say he is no friend any more! His name is Sean Smith,so if you are in the Paducah,Ky area,BEWARE of this guy! I would sue him,but he has nothing,so I would just be wasting my time,he dont have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of!
