I ordered a set of custom 17x8 Rallye IIs. My rims were in hand within 3 weeks! Their customer service was outstanding & friendly. Some young tech at Discount tire tried to tell me I had some odd size rim ("it's like 16 1/2 or something dude"), etc. that tires couldn't be mounted. I called Specialty Wheel and they walked me through measuring etc....
Rims were SPOT ON in ALL aspects of my custom backspacings, and being 17"s....Discount Tire people are morons..........
Anyhow, Specialty Wheel handled everything in stride, offered to get it right if something was in fact wrong (but they said they've never had such a problem as I described)....I marched back over to Discount, had a Manager install my tires. Turns out tech was so young, and only installed tires on aluminum rims with taller lip...he was scared of the slightly shorter lip of steel rims (the tires just "fall on"), thought it would "blow" off the rim....he hid behind two stacks of tires as they were installed by the manager.......total BS.
Rims are awesome, the 17's normally come chrome, but they had a set made for me all powdercoated like stock for only an additional 75.00 to the total cost (cost to strip the chrome off the 17" hoops).
FACTORY LOOKING RALLYES in 15, 16 & 17"s, Chromed or Stock Powdercoated finishes, 100% USA Made, CHEAPER than overpriced CHINESE import Aluminum rims........have your cake and eat it too, look stock, run a modern 17" tire!
