MOVING in two months and need to sell the car. This 1960 Pontiac Ventura has 48k original miles. The owner was an avid car collector that owned many classic cars including this one. His wife stopped driving this car early 1985 when the car was last registered. I worked over a year on this car to bring it back to it's original state and when I could I did it without compromising what was there. It's a cool car, it could be a driver ready soon or maybe your next project that doesn't need to much to finish, but you could definitely put your stamp on it and make it yours. The car was built in the Southgate factory in California.
Too many things to list, go to my blog and see what I've done: http://www.pontiacventura.blogspot.com Car needs to have brakes "tuned up", and minor other stuff. Engine is great and runs awesome, all valve and all gaskets redone, so that you understand, this is not a pretty paint job on the engine, but all top redone.
The body needs work, lots of little dents. See the photos!!!! I like it the way it is and that's why I didn't bother fixing the body.
