I used to hate dealing with that guy when i had an F-Body....never mind any Pontiac drive train parts...My B-in-law is restoring a 69SS and he also hates dealing with him...always acted like he was the only guy with unobtaimium parts...Most Trans am guys here that I know avoid him like the plague...

I also use PY, OPG, Nite Mare Performance, Inline Tube, Coan, Pro Systems, Ames and All Pontiac, Jegs and Summit....all are great suppliers to our hobby

When it comes to engine builders, you've got to be a little wary.

A few years ago, one of our local guys had an engine rebuilt by one of the well-known engine builders you list. After installation, it had a miss and smoked badly. Upon teardown, I believe they found a cracked ring. It turns out the engine builder was focusing only on race engines, and farming out the street work to a local machine shop.

If you're paying extra for a big-name builder, you need to verify it is that builder who is doing the work.

I've never used them, their prices are up there for the used stuff and I always end up finding it for less someplace else....like here:)
They do have a HUGE Firebird hoard though, and they will need to sell some stuff eventually, someday somebody else will run the place.

I recently went down to Pacific Performance Racing to pick up a 350 I had dropped off for machining, and sadly found out that my good buddy Ace Brewer is no longer offering engine building services- fortunately he is still selling all the parts you need to put together a nice high performance Pontiac V-8.
