Posting this for a friend who needs to clear out his yard
because his neighbors complained. I don't need another
project nor do I have time to help him with his, so it will
either go away whole or in pieces. I'd prefer whole, but
will approach him about parting it out if there's enough
demand for the parts.

Here are pics:

I can get specific pics over the weekend.

My friend bought it four years ago and never took it off
his car trailer - he just kept covering it up with tarps and
car covers and figured he'd get around to it someday.....

Interior and top are shot, but the convertible top frame-
work looks good.

The only glass that's not broken are the wing windows.
Every body panel is rusty - haven't checked the floors
yet but I'll assume they are rusty, too. Most of the trim
and emblems are driver quality, most with minor pitting.
No major damage to the body, so I think the frame is
most likely OK. Steering wheel is decomposing with much
of the plastic having fallen off already.

Appears to be the original 389 engine with 2 barrel carb.
He was told that it ran, but never took the time to start it,
presuming he would have the engine rebuilt along the way.

Options include auto trans, p/s, p/b, p/top, p/windows,
AC, tilt column with shifter, power antenna, rear speaker.

Clear, New Mexico title - or can get a new Nevada title.

He paid $2500 for it four years ago and would like to
recoup as much of that as he can. Offers/advice?
He'd prefer NOT to crush it for $260 a ton.......

If you're interested in specific parts, please let me
know so we can formulate a plan accordingly.

Email is best at red1970gto@gmail.com

Thanks everyone!

My buddy needs to get this old girl gone, so
he's offering to take off parts before we crush it.

Anything in particular anyone needs off a 1964 GP Vert?

Or he may possibly sell the whole thing for around crush value (~$500).

Anyone?

Thanks!
