Looking for an early '70s Ventura II 4 door sedan to drive.

Must be very clean, original, turn-key...no projects or rusty sh!tboxes.

Prefer bare-bones car with an inline 6.

This is neither valuable nor collectible. That said, I will pay fair money for the right one.

Tanx guys.

se428bandit, I emailed the seller 2x - no reply.

Really prefer a 6-powered example, anyway.

I have a 72 parts car so, if you find what you want and need something for it, keep me in mind.

You should instead get a 71-73 Wag and do a Pontiac V8 swap and a 68 Jeepster Commando BOP TH400 4x4 transmission that had the Buick V6 so you can retain 4x4 behind the Pontiac power :)

Its V-8 powered, but it looks to be very solid and original, that and it is the only 4-door I could find!!!!!

After sitting behind the wheel of one, I decided to seek something else...not enough legroom.

Mods, this thread may be closed.

Thanks for everyone's contributions.

Matt,

You might want to look into a 73-77 LeMans, Grand LeMans or a 73-75 Grand Am 4dr, they have good front legroom.

Thanks, Dave - I follow some of your threads and those cars do seem like good choices. For sentimental reasons, I am going to explore the universe of available '64 Tempest Custom more-doors.

Hey Matt, sounds like you are no longer interested in the early ventura, but I came across this and I'll pass it on, just in case.

Wow that would have been GREAT, but as I said, they don't have the leg room I need (especially after the crash, I need to be able to stretch 'em out!)

Thanks anyway, T.
