O.K.....my engine was running fine with a Stage 3 Jet performance carb, and since I had a winter to kill I sent a different Quad to Cliff to redo for me.

NOW I HAVE MORE PROBLEMS THAN BEFORE!!!!!

1) My gas milage has gone to crap. I can't leave a stoplight without checking my 60 foot time. Also my car will now turn around on it's own and chase down little rice burners to show them Pontiac torque. WTF

2) My Nitto NT05 were supposed to get me at least two years. Oh I don't think so...Thanks to Cliff the rubber seems to be flying off with every release of the brake pedal. Oh Yeah, he's gettin' a bill.

3) Now even my health is suffering- I get cramps in my right leg from extending it to the floor so much. I think I'm getting whiplash my neck is so sore. Luckily I have a headrest or it might snap off. And the last straw was...my face....I am getting smile creases and sore cheeks....WTF

Thank you Cliff for showing me the light of the Quad.

i got mine back end of last march and have to say mine is the same way.

I now look for any excuse to take the car out. And my dry rotted rear tires are
getting balder every outting. And some guy keeps leaving burnouts near my
driveway. Honestly my Bird has never run so well. Friendly to drive and always
ready to open the whoop ass. Best of both worlds!!

You didn't take up drinking when you got your quadrajunk back fron Cliff??? did you???

You know those REALLY are NOT performance carb's, your dreams must be getting the best of you!!!!...LOL

Did you start taking some prescription medications when you started drinking???, also???

Just think how fast your car could REALLY be if you installed one of those big Holley gas passers on it.............

Sorry, :D I've never played the part of goofball advocate here, before...:)....LOL... well maybe...:)

Send the Quadrajunk to me I have TWO of those Holley 650 spread bores, both have 2 accelerator pumps, those are what you REALLY need!!!

The biggest problem with Cliff's Quadrajets is it puts a big, goofy smile on your face that you can't get rid of, and your wife can't uderstand.

This is new.

This was clean just before going on a family cruise.

The other picture is of the faulty device.

As for the offers for a trade, what kind of a person would I be if I could KNOWINGLY inflict these kind of problems on other people. I would be no better than Cliff.

Of course in all seriousness, He is the Master, and there is a year long list for a reason.

Those are the reasons above. When you think you have your Quad all dialed in and are very happy with the way your engine is performing, send it to Cliff and see just how much more it can do.

Thanks again, Jason

what i think is funny is thread sorta bings out the cynic by clicking on it we are looking to hear the atypical rant post, slow shipping, poor work , lost sd # matching carb. i wonder how many cyber readers will stumble on it?

I have this large box of O.E. Holleys (4-5 carbs) I bought a trash truck a year ago (85 Ford F150, what else) had to dig through it this spring, was working on the Ford 351 HO carb, needed some little pieces.......it's a cheap HO.....LOL

Cliff, Is the color option (zinc/chromate plating) only $45.00? Per your site.

If not how much is the full plating?

Otherwise they are all gray in apperance?

Thanks,

Jeff

Here's two we finished yesterday to take to Norwalk and deliver.

We charge $125 for the plating service if your carb is in here for rebuilding.

The $45 charge is for the main casting and airhorn sent here, completely stripped down.....Cliff

So how is there a one year backlog and you're getting yours back in two months? Are you doing the reassembly or something? Not complaining, as I have work to be done. But I'm sure some people would question...

This reminds me, I have to ask a friend how his Edelbrock carb came out.
