The boys at SD gave me a giant grin a little bit ago. The old TA still has a long way to go but the engine is where it needs to be. I had just filled the tank and was giving my 6'4", 300lb cousin a ride up my favorite canyon road when what do we spot headed up the road? An NXS... :) Umm... fresh meat! :P We followed him at a safe distance and stayed in our own lane and I preceded to show him not only was he not going to out corner me but he was out classed in hp/wt. :D I only have the lowly original bushings that are more than ready to be replaced, stock oil shocks, Comp Eng. traction bars and subframe connectors and the stock 4-spd, with a set of 2.73's in the rear. The only real "handling" mod on the car are the tires you see.

Thanks SD and thanks to all those people at Pontiac in 1974 that put together a pretty neat car. It's been a nice day!

P.S. Oops! This was supposed to go in Costumer Satisfaction.

I was out cruising in my "6.6" (actually 7571cc) the last couple nights. It's a very satisfying thing to whip up on a Porsche...

Thank you SD Performance! :D

Marcel is a good guy. My engine is "The Real Thing". It runs like I always expected it to. I'd had some issues with a previous local engine builder who is NOT on this site, Marcel corrected them for me. Thanks again SD! :)

I love my engine... It was a nice drive yesterday! What a torque monster it is! 2.73's and it still pulls 'um out of the hole and on the highway... Woohoo! lol! :D I think I need paint "Big Girl" on the firewall, she's a locomotive! :D The look on that guys face... ! Didn't even have to shift down, 4th only, HA! I need a steam whistle under the hood and a Casey Jones hat. She's "Helen Wheels"! lol :D

Thank's guys! "Oh Canada... !" (Salute) :)

P.S. For those old enough to remember the music of the era that goes with the car... :)

Everyone remember what Sammy had on stage, right?! :) This is the year (1984) my buddy bought this car from the second owner for $1,500 with about 55,000 on it! LOL!! Those were the day's!
