Looking at 2 98-99 T/A's both WS6 automatic T-Top cars each of which have less than 8,000 miles . One is at a dealer and one private . NADA and Kelly Blue Book put the Values in the 13k to 15k range . Dealer is asking 20,500 and private one is 17,000 . Can they really be worth that much more than nada & kbb and where would i find that value at . Any Ideas on what they are actually worth . I called the bank to see what they would go finance wise and they are inline with the other figures I looked up .

honestly the 98+ WS6 are everywhere.
They do have low miles, which may bump the value up, but not that much in my mind, I dont think those will be collectors cars in the future

A few of these cars crossed the block this past weekend at the Mecum auction. You could check their website for the final prices to see what they went for there. It wont get you an actual price value, but you can see what that market is bringing.

given the choice I would take a 99 over the 98 even if it has more miles

Any particular reason why the 99 may be better than the 98 .

lots of items on the 98 are one off
given a broader choice the 01-02s are the best choice

Yes the 99+ are somewhat better than the 98's. (valve cover bolts, computer, ex manifolds, etc.)
The 01-02's have a better head and intake, a few 02's came with LS6 blocks as well.
The 00+ cars had a darker interior than the 99 and older cars.
There are a few WS6's available, but finding a low mile car that wasn't raced is a little harder.
