I wanted to thank the following people for their honesty, willingness to help, and fair prices

8-LUG - (super cool guy) the dash was better than i expected. If my GP ends up half the car your bonne is i will be thrilled. That is an A1 piece of Pontiac you have. Thanks again JOHN!

goatwgn (another super cool guy) - Thanks for the 2004r very nice piece fair price. I can't wait to see it in action! Thanks again AL!

Monzaz (JD Race) - Jim was very helpful. Although we never spoke on the phone, very helpful guy. Can't wait to get the posi in. It looks awesome! Will keep you posted

Fab Craft - Susan - lovely lady - Thanks for the gears, very well made. I will keep you posted on how it meshes with Jim's posi.

Now the story. 8-Lug and goatwgn i met on the same saturday. 3hrs to the Buffalo border, then to cleveland to meet John and the dash. Cool guy, met me at 6:30am, chewed the fat, drooled over his car and off me and my buddy went. 7 hours to Saratoga Springs NY to meet goatwgn (Al) and pick up the 2004r (complete with extras i might add). Well, being from Ontario, and being that close to NYC, how could we not drive there and check it out. Only had time for Manhattan but still a great finisher to the weekend. Slept in a rest area for a couple hours outside NJ then it was a 9 hour ride home.

JD and Fabcraft were email/phone orders but great guys/girls. This winter is gonna be a great one for drivetrain upgrades! Interior possibly too.

Thanks again to all those that help make bringing this GP back to life!
Adam

I am in the middle of making the wood support stands to support the car. Snow came last night so the driving season is over. Time to get to work! I will start a thread when the project takes off. Same goes for the dash john!
