Several years ago I had Ken build a nice 461 for my GTO. The experience was excellent and the engine still runs fantastic. Based on this I recently called him with a lower power project and he accomplished exactly what I wanted.
Subject car was my 76 Grand Prix with a gutless 400. The car has 43k miles so I really did not want to pull the bottom end as it looked great when I inspected it. Ken prepped a set of milled 6x-4 heads and matched a nice hydraulic roller cam to get me enough power that it now will actually accelerate and get out of it's own way. I installed the combo a few weeks ago, fixed a few leaks while out and added a Performer RPM intake and RAIII manifolds into a new dual exhaust. The street manners are just as nice as before except now I do not need full throttle to move down the road. Just returned from a week road cruise in the car and couldn't be happier.
Thanks for a perfect combo Ken!
