I just got a carb in the mail from Eric, now I see why he wanted the money before he shipped it, it's froze. He also tried to remove all the screws on the top butterfly's and broke off all the screws in them, I told him to let my rebuilder work on it, he did include another top part of a car pub to replace the Rusty butterfly's but I had no idea he didn't know what he was doing and butchered up this carb so bad. Now he wants more money for a throttle plate and more ship. I bought the carb with a good throttle plate on it, I thought. I own a forum and I am not new to this hobby, he's done at my place. He needs to ship me a good throttle plate so I can rebuild this carb. I only bought it to rebild and sell to someone here or on my site, it's a 1978 w72 auto carb, he also gave me a manual vac tree with out the top vac nipple for the trans.
He then called a guy on the west coast to buy it off of me, he gives him a price for my carb, who does that? I don't think the guy knows what shape its in.
I just don't get people trying to screw someone on a forum.
He needs to send me a good throttle plate, free shipped.

Sold, complete, all orig, even idlestop 78 W72, carb, I had 125$ in.
Listed at 150, needing rebuilt, I sold for 150, roger, refused to pay all ship, I lost 8 on it, I also took apart another carb, for top plates, and gave him for free.
I told him to send back, for 150 refund, which he refused. He said said, throttle plate froze, but he didn't attempt to soak.
I located another 78 bird base, it was 25, plus ship. He refused to pay, and demanded me to pay his rebuild cost of 250, on the 150 carb I sold, nuts....
I found someone that offered to pay all ship costs, and give him his 150, Roger, said no, he now wanted a profit on his return. If you go to store, and return an item, you only get your $, back, not a profit. He next proceeds to threaten to come to my home, I had to call local police.
This guy, is beyond nutz, and now you heard the rest of the story

The carb was sold to Roger, I pd 125, sold for 150, complete, even idle stop.
As explained numerous times, needs rebuilt, I didn't take anywhere, as I was basically breaking even. He asked what it all needed, rebuilt, totaly was my answer.
I told him I had a chevy parts carb I bought for 25, i removed tge top flaps, and included at no charge.
He paid the 150, and shorted me 7 bucs on shipping.
He received, and says throttle plates stuck, I asked if he soaked it, he said no. After numerous, calls, I offered him the chevy base, if he would pay the 6 bucs to ship plus 7 he shorted me, he said no.
I told him to return for his 150, his answer, I should pay 250 to have it rebuilt, I found another guy that offered to buy from him, even offered to pay both ship costs, his answer was he would return, only if he could get a 75 $ profit for his return. Who does this? A return is for what you paid, not a profit.
Finally, I found a guy that had a 78 bird base, he wanted $25, plus ship, Roger said no. I pd $125, all this too much.
Final cherry, was him sending a threatening txt, which I had to involve the police.
