I haven't seen anything posted for a 2016 Pontiac/BOP Show and Race in Tulsa.
Is there going to be one this year?

I just looked at the Tulsa raceway schedule and didn't see it around the first part of May when it was usually held. That sucks! Maybe if more guys would get off the forums and actually go to some events. I've been there with my car the last couple years and the turnout is low. Wouldn't surprise me if they replaced it with something a little more lucrative for the track.

I talked to Todd Martin, one of the co-owners of the track, two weeks ago at the Leake Auto auction held at the OKC fairgrounds. I asked him about the Pontiac event, no one has contacted him yet, this year.
Todd said he charges a flat fee for events such as our's. It still may be a bit much for our deal...
Does anybody know Larry Crider? I thought he was one of the organizers...
I will be asking questions to some other folks, here in a day or two...

One of my fellow Pontiac fellow enthusiast's just called Tom Wilhite. I
We figured he might know something, since he helps put on the Wichita event, and is always at the Tulsa event.....
Tom was busy at work when he took the call, but said, there's no Tulsa event this year.

Bummer because I am actually putting my street car back together right now. My race car will be hibernating a couple more years :(

I wonder who all was responsible for putting on this event in the past?
A car club? An individual?
Any of you Tulsa area folks know Larry Crider? I've heard his name mentioned in the past as one of the folks responsible for the event.
Last years event was one of the better turn outs in the past few years , although maybe not by a wide margin.
I've been concerned for several years about this event being able to carry on.

Indian nations POCI is the club that did it and Larry Crider was president at one time and may still be...
