Probably the best choice is Scarebird. https://scarebird.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=63&product_id=72

Another option, besides scarebird, especially if you're looking for a complete kit with everything you need in one box, is the kit by Master Power brakes. I have that kit on my '64 GP. I'm not completely done with the install yet, but so far so good.

Think I was looking through the Fab Craft site a while back and I think they had some options listed.

I used a Scarebird conversion on my 65 Catalina. It was easier to install than changing brake shoes. And works great.

You can go to Facebook, Scarebird Brakes or a pix of the Catalina.

Did you change over to a dual master when converting to disc ?

I put a MP Brake kit on my 64 Catalina. I bought the complete kit to switch to a dual master cylinder. Very easy install in an afternoon.
The downside to this kit is the junk wheel bearings that come in the kit. My suggestion would be to throw them in the trash and pick up a set of Timken Bearings
This cost me a spindle. Other than that I was happy with the kit.

Do you have a source for the Timken front wheel bearings? I bought the same kit and will take your advice and switch them out before I install the kit.

Will 69-70 disk brake spindles work on a 64?

I believe they do, but then you run into the problem of sourcing good calipers and especially good rotors. I think offshore manufactured rotors are finally available, but for a long time any kind of rotor for the 1969-1970 cars were unobtanium.

The new bearings I used were Timken LM11949 Cone, LM11910 Cup, L68149 Cone, and L68110 Cup.
Hope this was helpful.

I used Master Power Brakes' kit on my 1964 GP about 3 years ago and it has worked fine.

I'm not sure but I doubt it. I already had 15" Rally II wheels on the car when I installed the brakes.

Are those 15x7 rally II's ...? And how big of a tire can you fit on the rear ? Will a 255 60R 15 on a 15x7 fit ???? Thanks

I have the same kit for my '64 GP. I haven't completely installed the kit yet (still need to install the booster and master cylinder), but the instructions say that you need to go to at least a 15" wheel in order for the new disc brakes to fit.

I put an older 15" wheel on my car after the new front brakes just to roll it around in the garage as I work on the car, and the wheel rubbed the caliper a bit. The MP Brakes kit is built around the '77 to '90 full size GM cars (i.e. Chevy Impala/Caprice), so I assume the wheels would need to have similar backspacing, etc. to the wheels found on those cars.
