Ladies and Gentlemen!
First and foremost I am aware that there is already a registry that was created by Jack Anderson. I am working on a site that will be specific to the 1967 2+2s only. I am uploading PHS documents as well as pics. I've attached a couple screen shots to kind of give you all an idea. Under the "Registry Page" you will see info on each car to I have to date. You will see a picture(hopefully) of car next to the info which will be clickable and take you to another page where you can see the PHS info and any other pics that were taken etc.
I'm hoping more will be willing to share their cars information to document as many as we can out of the 1,768 that were produced.
This is still a work in progress and I will also be listing parts for sale there as well in addition to my cars, info etc...
I just wanted to get a little more in depth with the 2+2s of that year as they are what I am most passionate about.
If anyone has a 67 2+2 and would be willing to email me your PHS and pics please feel free at
[email protected]
Thank you all for taking the time to read this.
Best regards,
Dave Wanichek

interesting Diego how many HO's there are as a percentage of total 2+2 production, seems like getting rid of any "inbetween" engine options increases the take rate on the HO. Sadly the dismal total 2+2 production numbers make it's cancellation unsurprising.

14.8% of 2+2s had the HO, if I did my math right.
The Grand Prix, in comparison, had 1.3% with the HO.

And about 1/2% of big car production iirc by 69.

I think it's more that people who were buying a 2+2 were looking to go fast or have performance from the start. Those folks are an easy upsell into the performance motor vs. the average family guy trying to justify a 2 door car with the wife and kids who didn't even order a 4bbl motor, air conditioning, or even deluxe interior. The base model cars with manual transmissions weren't built that way because the buyer wanted to bang gears, they were built that way because the buyers were CHEAP.

Great !
Looks like you are doing a good job with it, and you have a decent amount of documented cars to start with.
Can see i still have a lot to learn about 67 Fullsize Performance Cars.
Should be interesting to surf all the pages, have only viewed a portion.
Already gained some good factoids from your 67 GP 428 California Native with YH Code and 612/614 AIR emissions.
I will have to make an apology in the 428 Bonneville 4door current thread, for misinformation i posted regarding CaliCars and their Block Codes.
Thanks ! :)

Do I have your blessing to use this on the website rather than a picture of a picture? Thanks in advance! :)

I appreciate the kind words! It's been fun working on it that's for sure!
And I'm happy to hear that you learned something from it. God knows I have a lot to learn yet myself lol!
Thanks again for the compliment!

Y'know, you don't need to put the addendum I wrote to correct something. Just use the corrected number and leave me out. I'm lucky enough to have gone through Pontiac archives but I don't deserve any credit--Fred Simmonds does.

Been fortunate enough to add a few more cars to the registry!

I don't think this site will ever be "done" but nonetheless it's been fun sharing with other Pontiac enthusiasts!
