I made a post searching for a 1933/34 Pontiac grille badge. A user (who I now see is suspended) PM'ed me to say that someone at "[email protected]" had one for sale. I started an email conversation and was sent suspicious photos that appeared to be taken from the web. "Carl" came up with repeated excuses why he couldn't send me photos of the item which would prove he was legit. I received the typical assurances that he could be trusted, with no proof. I did some digging and found an alert on a Duramax site:
Stay away from "[email protected]" or "Vivian Ader" in Macomb, MI.
