Hi, I’m posting here because it will get more views but I’m looking for a driver quality Formula wheel for my ‘72 GTO, mine got beat down by the Texas sun & I’m trying to avoid a repro since the car is all original otherwise, please let me know if you have one.

I got a nice one from a 1975 for sale. Black.

question;
If your original wheel is in otherwise good shape, and not missing foam, can't it get refreshed?
Kind of like a just dashes or interior repair??

I know I have read of many sources which will recover with leather (ect) - but isn't there a company that can reskin it?

I see these trucks driving around which offer leather and vinyl renewing 'fiberenew'(?) - maybe one of these companies can do it??

Yes it can be redone. I sent him info on a guy who does great work.

I could probably help with the collar in a month. Going to be doing another big batch of them.

I didn’t glue in the new Bird emblem, you can get one for a GTO from AMES.

Horn contacts are date coded, this is a 1975

Bruce, pretty sure that you’re local to me so I might take you up on the offer. I already spoke with the guy that @65madgoat suggested so I’m hoping to restore this one since it’s original to the car. If anyone knows of someone who also restores them I’d appreciate the suggestion since the other guy is in California & I’m on the East Coast in NH.
