View Full Version : Need an Flywheel Inspection Cover or p/n# for a 68 firebird, 400 bell housing 9783111

I am in the middle of restoring my Dad's 68 firebird. I need the correct P/N# for a bell housing P/N# 978311. This bellhousing with a manual 4 speed muncie M20 came off the original engine which is a Pontiac 350 and I am putting it on a 400. When I took it off, there was no flywheel inspection cover. Now I see all different types of covers and don't even know which one to use.

I got on Ames, it seems they sell repro’s for automatics but not sure of the manual ?

sorry your using a 6 cylinder bellhousing
mine is for a v-8
mine will not work
