Hey, nice to see there are some left I took a quick look through the GTO Restoration Guide, by Paul Zazarine, and found that for 1967, (if you didn't know) Pontiac switched to a Rochester Quadra -Jet and stamped on the LH side of the float bowl with these numbers:

    Manual trans - 7037263
    Auto trans - 7037262

    Hope that helps.

A Freemont built GTO will have a different engine code than the rest of the 49 state cars, and will also have the rare AIR setup as well as a specific carb.

Hi there. I have a 67 GTO from Calif that's very near all original. I'm trying to determine if the carb is original and can't seem to get any good info. Can you point me in the right direction? Hope you can help, thanks!
